2012 Building Professionals Board Consultation in February and March
01-Feb-2012

The Building Professionals Board is offering practitioners and the community the opportunity to have direct input into the future scope of the certification system in NSW during consultation sessions across NSW in February and March 2012.

As part of this consultation, the Board will set up additional meetings with council accredited certifiers to discuss access to appropriate qualifications and experience, proposed possible future directions and options for expanded continuing professional development from 2013.

The Board is keen to ensure that as many relevant people as possible are given the opportunity to be part of the consultation and requests that you forward details of the consultation to your organisation's members. To assist, we have pulled together a short information sheet (attached) that can either be sent to members, or used as the basis as an article. You are also welcome to simply send a link to our dedicated webpage at http://www.bpb.nsw.gov.au/page/2012-consultation-sessions/ or to the online registration form at http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22ED6RXZAVN.

If you have any questions, please contact Tara Madon by email tara.madden@bpb.nsw.gov.au or call on 0432 517 352.
