Accreditation Membership Tests
ACAA Livable Housing Australia (LHA) Registered Assessors Course
The Association of Consultants in Access Australia (ACAA) offers following workshop for individuals wanting to become a Registered Assessor under the Livable Housing Design Guidelines. The nationally agreed Livable Housing Design Guidelines assist you to understand, promote and deliver livable designed homes. The Guidelines provide technical advice and guidance on the key easy living features that make a home easier and safer in which to live for people of all ages and abilities.
Livable Housing Australia’s Registered Assessors are independent consultants who evaluate the design and completed construction of homes against the Livable Housing Design Guidelines.
If you are interested becoming an LHA Registered Assessor, you must successfully complete this course as well as an on line test administered by LHA.
ACAA is pleased to announce it will be delivering LHA Registered Assessors Courses as follows:
- Tuesday 13th May, 2014 – Sydney: Y Hotel, Hyde Park
- Wednesday 11th June, 2014 – Brisbane: Southbank Institute of Technology
- Thursday 10th July, 2014 – Melbourne: City Bowls, Flagstaff Gardens
Times: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Registration costs: Members $330 (incl. GST) Non-members $385 (incl. GST)
ACAA has had queries from WA & SA about the course being offered in those States. ACAA is prepared to run the course provided sufficient demand for ACAA to recoup its costs, a minimum of 20 registrations is required.
